Sulfur in 5g discs supplied in 1kg buckets. The discs have a hole in the centre so that several can be tied together at once.
Main Function: Protection of wax comb frames against wax moth.
Instructions for use: Burn the discs in a metal or ceramic container (compatible with the SOLFORBOX burner), in a closed drum or inside an empty hive without bees on top of the frames with the lid on. Do not breathe the sulphurous gases.
Frequency of Use: Burn discs 2 or 3 times, repeating every 7 or 10 days as needed.
Safety: Handling by qualified or responsible personnel. Generates toxic gas (sulfur dioxide) during combustion. Leaves no toxic residue after combustion.
Important Notes: Sulphurous gas does not destroy the eggs of the larvae. Its regular use helps to maintain a healthy environment in the hive. It is not advisable to carry out many treatments with sulphur, as it corrodes the metal parts and is an unnecessary risk. Before its introduction into the hive, the frames must be well ventilated.
